Kiln Dried Ash Lumpwood Barbecue Charcoal

Our traditional Ash lumpwood barbecue charcoal has become a firm favourite and an absolute staple in our charcoal barn, and now we are expanding our range with kiln-dried Ash lumpwood charcoal. Being kiln-dried it is denser and burns for longer than traditional lumpwood as it fractures less during pyrolysis. Great for those longer cooks, or if you just want a little bit more from your charcoal. We produce this from kiln-dried sawn Ash timber from a local hardwood sawmill, Tyler Hardwoods based a few miles from our base in Wiltshire. It is all grown in Britain, completely natural and untreated, and is also an eco-conscious choice as no trees have been felled for the sole purpose of making charcoal.
